I'm pleased to annouce that my image titled 'New Day' as been chosen as the winner of the 'Friends of the Peak District Photo Competetion 2011'. The entries to the competition were whittled down to a shortlist of seven, all of a very high standard making it a diffcult decision to chose the winning image.

It's with great pleasure that I have become a Corporate Friend and proud supporter of Friends of the Peak District, a charity that works to protect the beautiful, but fragile Peak District countryside and landscape.

Capturing the Landscape Painted with Light - An exhibition of landscape images taken in the Peak District throughout the seasons. The exhibition runs from the 1st - 30th September at the Peak District National Park Visitors Centre in Castleton.

Made it to the final round of judging in the 'Landscape Photographer of the Year Competition 2010' with the image 'Winter Shadow'.
May 2010
'Burbage Valley' image received a gold award in the 'Landscape' section of the SWPP photographic competition for the month of April 2010. All gold award winners go forward to the annual competition at the end of the year. Two other images also received high marks but not the coverted 'Gold' award.
Judges decision in and two of my landscape images have been chosen for the Rotherham Open Arts Exhibition, which show cases the talent of local artists. The exhibition runs from the 1st May - 12th June 2010 at the Rotherham Art Gallery.

Two Visions Exhibition - An exhibition of a selection of my landscape images in conjunction with fellow landscape photographer Andrew Hemmingway. The exhibition runs from the 5th - 30th April at the upstairs gallery at the 'A Month of Sundaes' in Marsden (See flyer below).
